| Casa Kennels is a small kennel with 2-3 litters per year. I have been breeding registered American Cocker Spaniels since 1987, and am a member of the CKC since 1987, along with The American Cocker Spaniel Club of both Canada and Central Ontario. My obsession with cockers started when I purchased a red female adult cocker from a breeder that was down sizing her kennel. Ginger was a happy companion for a short time. After her sudden death I went on a mission to find another cocker to ease the grief and pain that I was feeling. I found a 4 month old buff male that the breeder was keeping for herself as a show prospect. I had no idea about the concept of showing dogs, so I just tagged along.

I have always loved the black variety, so my next cocker was a black female. My #1 goal in cockers is to have a beautiful temperament along with good health, proper structure and movement. As a breeder it is a honor to see your puppies go to loving homes and your show prospects in the ring, this makes all the sleepless nights worth while.
